I wanted to personally thank you and the Bicycle Gear team for the exceptional service and quality apparel you provided for our team.
We raced the Trans Baviaans last weekend, and after 18 hours on the bike, I think we can safely say that we gave the kit a proper test!
What impressed us most was the bibs' performance. Every member of the team completed the entire 18-hour event in the same bib without needing to change it. Throughout the race, we only changed into drier, warmer underlayers as conditions required, while keeping the same bib and jacket.
The comfort and performance of the bib were genuinely next level. Considering the amount of time we spent in the saddle and the demanding nature of the Trans Baviaans, we expected some level of discomfort towards the latter stages of the race. Instead, the bibs remained exceptionally comfortable throughout and exceeded all our expectations.
The jackets performed equally well, providing the protection and versatility we needed as conditions changed throughout the day and into the night.
Having previously used some of the more expensive and well-known cycling brands on the market, I can confidently say that the Bicycle Gear kit performed exceptionally well and, particularly with the bibs, exceeded our experience with many premium alternatives.
Beyond the quality of the apparel, I also want to thank you personally for your professionalism, responsiveness, and assistance throughout the process. From the initial ordering and custom design through to delivery and ultimately racing in the kit, the entire experience has been excellent.
Please extend our thanks and congratulations to the rest of the Bicycle Gear team. You have produced a product that not only looks great but has now proven itself over 18 hours in one of South Africa's toughest endurance mountain bike events.
