Tour Itinerary

1

Day 1 - Brussels arrival and welcome

You will be welcomed at Brussels airport, assisted with your luggage (and bike), and transferred safely to your beautiful hotel.

For those who arrive early, we have an optional easy-paced 20 km trip to the Atomium.

At 4 pm, we gather over a complimentary welcome drink and after a short introduction and briefing of what lies ahead, we stroll with our guide through the Koniginnegalerij and the Grand Place.

Dinner is served in the famous and lively Rue Du Boucher in the town centre of Brussels.

2

Day 2 - Coastal ride with brewery visit

We have an early start and need to fuel up properly at the continental breakfast as we have a long day ahead of us.

Our team of guides, mechanics and road supporters transfers us to De Panne, where we kit up and ease into the adventure with a gentle, rolling ride of approximately 50 km.

We schedule a stop at the St Sixtus Abbey, where the worlds most famous trappist is brewed. A light snack, and of course a top notch beer will be served here.

Thankfully, not much effort is needed after the beer tasting, as we roll into Ypres in the early evening to check in, and, after a quick shower, gather for aperitif and our Stava analysis.

But we don't have much time to waste, as a cultural highlight and must see is the Last Post Ceremony at the Meningate.

We finish this incredible day with a 2 course meal at the town square of Ypres.

3

Day 3 - World War I battlefields crossing and legendary cobbled climbs

Welcome to the 90 km Queen Stage - a long but rewarding day lies ahead of us. We wake early and have a quick full breakfast before we hit the road to experience the scenery of the World War I fields, with time to view some of the memorials and battle front.

Submerge in the full heritage of Flanders as we visit the "Ronde Van Vlaanderen" museum.

A hearty lunch is served in Oudenaarde, to fuel up for some of the legendary cobbled climbs of the Ronde, to arrive in Geraardsbergen for the evening.

As always, we gather for our Strava analysis, we strategise our attacks for the next day, and settle down for dinner.

Optional Massages can be arranged at the hotel.

4

Day 4 - Start with "the muur" and end in Bruges

This is where our adventure shifts from great to iconic. We hope you're ready for THE most authentic Flemish cycling challenge, which gets you bragging rights for years to come.

Fuel up at breakky because we have quite the punchy start - DE MUUR awaits us.

Afterwards, we continue on a relatively flat and easy route via stunning medieval architectural villages and many enticing cafe's.

Lunch will be served at the pitoresque canals in Ghent. We saddle up again, for our final 50 km to our end destination, Bruges.

If your legs are still up to it, you can climb the Belfry. But you can also just watch the tower from the gorgeous market square, where we'll gather for our daily Strava analysis before having our farewell dinner and receiving your goodbye trophy.

Day 5 - Farewells

Sadly, our journey will have to come to an end. After a well-deserved sleep in and lavish breakfast, we will transfer you back to Brussels airport and make sure your bikes are boxed and ready for a next adventure.

Who is this tour for?

This tour is for the cyclist who believes the best rides are about more than just the kilometres.

You should be fit enough to comfortably ride around 80km a day over Flanders’ rolling, undulating terrain, but you certainly don’t need to be a racing snake.

This experience is about enjoying the ride, taking in the scenery, tackling the famous climbs and sharing the experience with like-minded cyclists. If you enjoy good food, a cold Belgian beer at the end of a ride, while discovering beautiful towns and countryside, and plenty of laughs along the way, you’ll fit right in.

Ride hard when you want to, take your time when you need to, and enjoy every kilometre in between.
